Jays expressing interest in long PG from Arizona Jonathan Milligan who is spending his Post-Grad year at Word of God Christian (NC) [Where John Wall played]. Washington State, San Diego State, Clemson, Colorado State, and Western Kentucky showing Jonathan the most love. Milligan does say:
“I really like Creighton a little bit,” Milligan said of his favorite right now. He said Northern Arizona is the only college has visited and while he has no trips planned, does anticipate using all five of his official vists. Milligan, who plans to commit sometime around September, noted that he did not qualify as a 2012 recruit, but expect to do so for 2013.

I think this could happen if we can't land Foster or Harris. I know the Jays were very high on him last year.

There had been articles out of AZ - late spring/early summer, stating we were still on him,
and following his progress very closely.
Evidently that is the case.

The 6-2 point guard is drawing looks from high-majors around the country, and for good reason. He is quick and had a terrific summer that he will look to build off of this season. John Wall even told Scout.com’s Evan Daniels that Milligan is “super nice.” Not bad for a skilled ball handler that not enough people are talking about.

I was hoping he was more under the radar than that. Time for a some Lutz magic on this last spot.

Had a great day at Peach State Summer Showcase

The quickest first-step of any prospect we saw at Peach State thus far, the Arizona native is making his name known at the event. He keeps defenders on skates and loves attacking the basket with his speed. He also possesses a nice mid-range game. Will be teaming with Josh Newkirk at Word of God Academy (NC) this season. Very dynamic backcourt.

Will we get a visit from Milligan?

I would think we would have to take another look at Jonathan. Unless they don't think CU adm. would quailify him I would think we would be pushing for a visit. He flat play.
