Man it's sure going to be slow after this spot is filled. 2015 seems like it's going to be a long wait. GO jays1

One thing is certain, there won't necessarily be a flurry of activity like last month. However,
be certain that there will be plenty of behind the scenes activity and that recruiting will continue
by Merf, Lutz, and DeVries. They've got creative work to do to get Reid Travis in 2014.

Now, to avoid the negative comments and "out of nowhere" criticism; I do not expect anyone to
leave the Hilltop, but there are a couple of creative options which can be put into play.

1) Recruited walkon or regular walkon. (poss academic sholie, financial aid package) Get sholie in 2015.
2) 2014 1st Semester regular student, midyear accession/joins team at 2nd Semester (like Gregory did).
Would count towards 2015 sholie tally.
3) A 5 year player (EW) graduates in 2013, but stays using last year of eligibility, as graduate player
like Weems did. Freeing up a sholie for 2014 in the process.

I am not sure. I thought we'd be done after this weekend. Dawson and Thomas are high level players, and we sit in a great spot with them, I try to dig some stuff up.

Coach Mac is in Dallas today:

There is no hurry. We should wait 'til Spring... and offer the best 2-3 available.

Jays will have a better bargaining position after a good NCAA run.

Or save the scholie for Reid Travis.

Really disappointed Foster didn't even take a visit, oh well, move on............Thomas and Dawson seem like good prospects, but they don't get me as excited as I was about Foster. If they commit, great, if not, pocketing it for 2014 isn't a bad idea either...
