What a wild off-season. Looked extremely bleak a few days ago and now we’re on the verge on getting a 4 star this late in the game? Thank you Miller family

Seems pretty much like every off season to me. This board is so bi-polar. Watching some of you go up and down like yo-yos is pretty entertaining each year gets old but has its entertainment value as well.

Go Jays!

People need to remember that there are always going to be ups and downs in recruiting.

As for Johnathan Lawson, he would be a perfect fit for so much of what we do. Outside of the obvious things (he's long and can score), he's a great passer and can handle the ball really well for his size as well - there are times he can even play the PG spot, IMO. So defensively and offensively, he can match up all over the place, and in our offense he'll have tons of opportunities to create and score..

Get him here early to get involved with S&C and working toward the season and he'll be a star in Creighton's system

Grr, I shouldn't have posted-- think I jinxed this!

Holding on for a while though... Still think he's a good fit, although the connections to Hardaway are long established.

Calling to tell Penny “thanks but no thanks, I’m going to Creighton”? Thus making a call with Creighton unnecessary? One can hope.

Maybe it means he already committed to us and is telling that to Penny on his Zoom today

The Memphis backcourt seems stacked whereas I think he will have a lot more opportunity here. Fingers crossed
