The St. John's stuff is strange because I think Anderson is a good coach and they made significant strides this year.

I understand schools where the coach is fired or moves to another job. As much as the blue-hairs say that you "commit to a program and not a person," these young men and their families build trust with a coaching staff that promises to look after them and help them develop as players and men. Hard to ignore that a majority of college basketball is either relationship-building or dropping a bag on your handler's porch.

Not sure on St Johns but DePaul and Minnesota fired their coaches, so not too surprising that kids are leaving the programs

Texas Tech has 9 players transferring out. They lost their head coach but promoted the top assistant.

Posted this on the offseason thread, too, but Goodman tweeted today that 84 of the 87 schools in power basketball conferences have a scholarship player in the portal.

Michigan, UCLA, and Alabama are the 3 that do not have a scholarship player in the portal.

Three debatable Top 5 teams next year. No surprise you'd want to stay where you're at.

Oklahoma, Illinois, OK State and St John’s - among others - also interested.
