The recent three AZ Compass games are on YouTube. Posting this one here since it’s TYTY vs Ryan.

Nembhard is just a damned good basketball player. Altman would have loved him, “Make shimple playsh fellash, shimple playsh!” Okay coach. Just solid.

Dimes, a 3, reverse layup runs the team and the #1 point guard in the junior class he’s guarding has done very little in the first half.

“Stirring the drink” per the P by P guy at half. Player spotlight from the first half for Montverde.

Agree. He looks so solid and never rushed. Along with the previous game I saw, both announcers say " he is the most important player on the court"; high praise with all the top talent on his team. Seems a lot like Z in that regard, not quite the 3 pt shooter (in my limited views) but also great on ball defender and quick hands. He disrupted and caused several turnovers in the first half.

247 take yesterday after the recent explosion of top teams vs top teams events:

Performance Takeaway: No player boosted their stock more than Ryan Nembhard. The four-star guard is tough and smart with a mature floor game. He was very unselfish, always putting his teammates before himself in every situation while scoring when given the chance. The addition of Nembhard and top-40 signee Ty Ty Washington will only be an encore to the fantastic backcourt Bluejay fans have grown accustomed to over the past few years. Expect Nembhard to make a nice leap when the player rankings for the senior class are updated.

Scouting analysis from this weekend:

2021 Ryan Nembhard (Montverde): Simply can’t wait to watch him with TyTy Washington. Nembhard plays with such a high IQ on the floor, great floor spacing, and seeing/finding open teammates in the right position. Just has a natural feel and leader on the court, but also steps up and scores as well from inside and out. Loved his pace and understanding on the floor with the ball in his hands.
