Do I know this for sure? No. Nor did I know about Christofilis.
But for the last two years at least, we've not had a legit 4 on the roster because we put all the eggs into one basket (Tugs, Lawson, Swider, Enaruna) and then missed on that player. It's this staff's M.O. at this point. Why would I be confident that they have a backup plan this time around?

We may have missed on those players but to not think the coaches had/have some plan seems a stretch. Last time I checked we had a pretty talented current roster that is pre-season top 10. That doesn't seem like a thing with teams that have no recruiting plan.

Agree. They have a plan, and it's pretty clear that they'd rather use a solid wing who can bang a bit at the 4 rather than toss a tall guy out who can't bring the right skills to the position. Miller fits every criteria for what we want there, though...
