Well that blows the whole recruits get downgraded as soon as they sign with CU narrative out of the water (although we haven't seen rivals yet).

Curious how that composite works. 247 is the only one of the three major recruiting sites that even has him ranked. 64 on 247 and unranked on ESPn and Rivals = 66 in the composite?

Rivals doesn't rank international players unless they play high school ball in the US. Jonathan Givony at ESPN is obviously familiar with him but he does their NBA draft coverage, he's not one of their high school recruiting guys.

Verbal commits has him as a 2 star. Someone didn't do their homework on Rati so they gave him a 2 star for lacing up his shoes.

I have no issues with any ranking and how it came about. I trust my instincts and I see what I see......

I see a good prospect, one that can provide at least 3-4 minutes a half his Frosh season. Because of his PG prowess he has an upside that may or may not be seen in year one. I believe MZ and Reef will play most PG minutes.

International players are hard to predict one way or the other. He is a GOOD prospect. His impact his Frosh season, is more likely minimal. He can gain valuable experience and help the team in year one. But, year two is where he really starts to shine.

Glad we have him, and excited to see how he develops over the next 3 years. Yes, I see at least 3 seasons and hope there are great reasons why he goes only three seasons.

Personally, I’d give 3 stars.
