Life of a midmajor coach, it sucks.

Yep. The Mo Valley isn't what it used to be, and the gap between the Haves and Have-Nots in college ball is even bigger than before. Sucks, but if you're a 7 footer with some potential, you probably don't want your film to be of you going up against a bunch valley post defenders

I doubt he’d have any interest in Creighton and vice versa because of Kalkbrenner. Lot of similarities in their games. Sounds like Iowa is the frontrunner.

I think I saw Jeff Goodman on twitter say its Minnesota most likely

Jeff Goodman was right. Quickly committed to Minnesota.

Caleb Grill to UNLV. Things starting to get fishy.

Meh, just seems like we’re not getting anyone in probably one of the most important off-seasons as of late

How is that "fishy" though? First of all, there are still plenty of transfers and high-schoolers left uncommitted. Secondly, we have no minutes for anyone on the wing next year. It's going to be a hard sell to get a high-caliber transfer that wants to immediate playing time (which all of them do, or why would they transfer?).

It’s not fishy when this is your potential lineup for next year if you are an immediate eligible player:

Starters
Marcus
TyShon
Mitch
DJ
Christian

Bench
Denzel
Antwaan
Kalkbrenner
Jacob
Shereef

Sit out transfers is a way different story...

I’m just talking about sit-outs. We don’t need a grad transfer at all for next year especially if we get Kerwin. Fishy wasn’t the right word but we were out on Burton, Stevenson, Nolley, Grill, Wertz, Griffin, Martin, East who were all sit outs. I would think this could be the year we could land a big time sit out like Marcus Foster because there will be tons of minutes and shots available for 2021. Maybe they will start coming now that it’s unlikely the waiver rule won’t be in effect.

We have a lot of options at this point with Trey Murphy, Aaron Estrada, Kerwin Walton, and a few others. Most of those guys you listed are going to apply for waivers next year and want playing time which we cannot offer.
