CBB analyst Adam Zagoria tweets that Oregon is the leading contender for Estrada but a decision isn’t final. A basketball writer for Syracuse (Mike Waters) says the Orangemen aren’t really in play.

So, if these guys are right (who knows?), looks like it’s a final 2 with Creighton as the underdog.

#2 rated (by Rivals) sit-out transfer Trey McGowans commits to Nebraska.

The #2 sit out transfer has horrible shooting percentages.

To be fair, they’re replacing Mack and Green with better players. Guys who have played well at the D-1 level. They’re obviously trying to replicate what they did at ISU. See if it pays off. Eventually, you need to recruit good high school players and I’m not sure who they’ve even got to commit thats a high school player

To be fair, we don’t know if any of their players are going to be better than Mack. Agree on Green though. Mack was a head case but he put up really decent numbers with an awful supporting cast.

Just an opinion. I think McGowans and Webster are both better than Mack.

Kobe King is eh, I was surprised we were even “interested” in him. He’s probably an upgrade over Green just because he’ll player harder but who knows.

The #2 sit out transfer also isn’t going to be missed by Pitt at all according to Twitter or their message boards. Ball hog that can’t create for others at PG. Will fit in perfect in Lincoln. Let Washut and Heady write a couple articles about getting this HUGE pickup tho lol.

Looks like he didn't do much good at Pitt, but he has some raw talent and Fred needs someone who's athletic enough to fit in a P5 game and who can score anyway they can. Not a fit for us at all, but I can see why Nebraska would be interested.
