Isn't it possible to be a jays fan, and yes, want to pound the huskers every time we play them, without having to talk crap on them personally? I haven't heard anything from Hoiberg like Miles with his "only show in the state" mantra.

Are we interested? I realize his prior offers were mostly mid-major; but, I think that was before his commitment to NE. I realize we have greater needs than another wing. But, I always like taking a local kid if he is talented. And, we need to get some younger wings in the program since we are going to face big roster losses in 2021. If Ohio State is reaching out (which I know doesn’t mean offering), I would think we would too.

I wouldnt mind putting a flyer on him since we have 2 scholies. If Walton doesnt pan out, he wouldn't be a bad second option. I think most teams are waiting to see what he looks like post acl. As long as the other scholie goes to a PF or a center.

Players can improve their shooting though, he wouldnt play much next year though.

And that’s supposedly the main reason he recommitted from Lincoln in the first place.

We have wings aplenty, and never seem to have trouble finding the ones that are good fits for our system. I think the priorities have to be (and always should be) getting stretch 4 that fits our offense and getting another PG. If MZ leaves next year (still a stretch for this year I think) we need to have a guy besides Shereef. A guy that is not a walk-on preferably. Another post-player as an insurance policy in case Epperson's health remains a problem would be nice too.
