It’s completely different.

Ballock blew up his sophomore year, and that’s when he got the KU offer pretty early. He got hurt, his recruitment nationally as a whole cooled and then a lot of teams cooled off on him including KU.

I don’t know how much Ryan ever considered KU. The read from most people was it was always between CU and Purdue.

Not saying we’re out on Hunter, I’m just saying his recruitment as a whole and his ascension to where he is, has been different. Bossi from Rivals says all the time he thinks they underrate him, and he’s already a top 50 player there.

Hunter has mentioned CU several times when discussing his recruitment. I don’t think we really have a shot anymore, but at one point we probably had as good a chance as any.

Also, Ballock and Kalkbrenners recruitment is entirely different. Hunter is probably going to end up being a 5 star. He’ll probably get to choose just about anywhere

If I was a high recruit and could choose anywhere to go, I would choose my home town team and very good school Creighton.
There are so many pluses to stay at home here. I am not ruling out Hunter signing with Creighton.

You're never out on a recruit until that recruit says you are. I won't give up hope until he cuts his list and we don't make it or he commits somewhere else.
