He’s gotta see the benefits of staying home, like Tazz an Patton, friends and family, local hero, billboards and stories, and (drum roll) NBA!!
At Creighton Bob Gibson majored in sociology and starred in Basketball and Baseball. In 1957 Gibson received a $3,000 sign-on bonus with St. Louis Cardinals, but delayed his HOF Cards career a year to play pro B-ball with the Harlem Globetrotters.

I’m sorta ok with signing Wur now. Shot in the dark.

Me too. With Jones aboard we are covered at Ctr. Agree- take a shot on him.

I go higher than shot in the dark. His potential ceiling is very high, and that potential is a great fit for our system. There's a reason our coaches were keeping ties to him even though it wasn't expected that he'd qualify.

I liked him when I saw his film and like him even more now. He's a guy who can be a MUCH better player in a year to 2 years, even toward the upper half/upper end of the BE in his position, IMO

The Texas A&M, Kansas, and VaTech boards have had some interesting commentary on this kid.

Would you mind linking these. I'm lazy and don't feel like searching. :) Thanks in advance!

I'm more than "Ok" with this one.

Lok is the type of athlete with upside that CU is missing in it's lineup.

We have good to great shooters, but still are sitting here with only 3 guys taller than 6'6". Wouldn't it be fun to trot out a lineup with a stretch four that is either Wur or Bishop? We'd look like a real college basketball team that gets into the second weekend. We are very deep this year and next at the 1,2 and 3 spots and can fill in at the four if needed.

We don't have any options on our horizon that look at all like Wur and getting some physical diversity on our team would be welcome and needed.
