The Jays have 2 open scholarships for next year and a total of 3 over the next 2 years. I'm not sure Mac wants to have only 1 opening for 2020 so I would be slightly shocked if more than one new player signs for 2019. I can live with no new signees for 2019 but another big would be nice.

I'd hit "Like" if that were available. Only edit I'd make is that I can see 2 this year (2019), but one would be a graduate transfer so that Scholarship becomes available again in 2020, and I think we take a Graduate Transfer almost for certain this year to get another option in the post

There is a benefit to holding back the second scholarship --- it gives us something to offer if a mid year transfer pops up. That's become more common and it seems there are always some good big men who do the mid year transfer

I agree and I was referring to a grad transfer. It makes no sense not to get one or TRY to get one however late in the game it is. Next year could be one of the best years in history so we need to be locked and loaded!!!!

Is he actually transferring? I read he was just taking next season off to due to a family medical issue.
