Martin and Jacob are like solid selling points for the coaches ability to get solid talent overseas. I'll have to go look when we signed them. no one really knew much about them before signing, so maybe coaches has a foreign stud up their sleeve.

It would be great to have somebody on the roster, even it is a guy that needs some development.

(Jury out on Froling with only one year on the roster.)

Can't find much in the way of complaints. No one knew anything about him and there wasn't any info out on the internet about him. Do see lots of intrigue, though. I don't remember a lot of griping over his signing off the internet either, no one knew a thing about him.

Also Jacob was a top 100 recruit for 2 consecutive years and played hs ball in Indiana, same team as Bowen Jr.

we've had quite a few 'stealth' recruits - Martin being one. He's a big success

most of the others - (Marlon, Malik, Suarez, Paras, etc) - have not been.

Most were very excited about Jacob cause we saw him playing w Bowen's team. Mac didn't even know anything about Martin when we signed him. I think Lutz was the only one that had even seen him play. All Mac knew was he as playing in Florida and Lutz wanted him. Drock just gave me the hell if i know when I asked him about him. I remember Mac going to see him in Florida and I am pretty sure that was after he had committed. Then he got here and his knee was all screwed up. How in the hell would anyone be excited about that?
