Interesting. I wasn't sure if he was actually a Big East level player.

I know this is a lazy comparison but he strikes me as a young Jordan Bohannon. Sign me up for that.

Bohannon is a nice player. Has an edge to him, too.

I know Joey liked him but I never saw it in terms of him playing at the high-major level. UNI's a great fit for him. They've already got AJ Green at point guard for three more years but I'm sure those two will be able to play together just fine in the MVC.

There was a lot to like about him, but the drawbacks of playing a guy like him in the BE were likely too big to overcome (lack of size, defensive issue's he'd likely have, etc.). I'm interested in seeing how he develops -- UNI's a great fit for him

Recruiting loss for D-Rock

UNI has done very well recruiting the Iowa Barnstormers the last few years. They got Green in 2018 (obviously his dad being on the coaching staff helped there), Noah Carter and Logan Wolf (who is playing football and waking on for basketball) in 2019 and now Born plus Tytan Anderson in 2020, all from the Barnstormers.

I would rather have Chucky Hepburn in 2021. We've had good luck with Bellevue West PGs, and Chucky seems to be the most talented of the group.

We really need to keep the local guys like Hepburn, Sallis, and Murrell. They are talented players, and the Omaha-area players have done pretty well at Creighton over the years!

Yes I agree we need to continue keeping the local kids, it is good PR and they develop fairly well. I would be disappointed if we didn't get 2 of the 3: Hepburn, Sallis, and Murrell.
