More than we have if you want to pioneer the five guard defense.

We have 3 scholarships to give. Yes, we need at least 1 big, but we also need a guard to sort out the roster for when Mintz graduates and when Alexander and Ballock are seniors.

Beyond that, Grill's a legitimate high major player with very good P5 offers - big, physical and athletic with the kind of skills we need. We want to be aggressive in Kansas (an underrated recruiting area, IMO) and he fits our style really well.

We have 3 open spots. We basically need to find a guy that can play the 4 and then sign the two best available players.

Yep. Enaruna, Grill, and a transfer would be ideal.

completely agree. That would be my best case scenario for this class. i'd be very happy to add that to the talent that is on the roster already

Remember at least 3 open spots. Likely more.

We always talk about the team lacking physical and mental toughness. If we can get a legitimate player that has that Gibbs gene to get under the opponent's skin, I say go for it. This squad needs an edge and a swagger to it.

Exactly. He's a athletic and tough kid with good size who could get a lot better as he focuses on one sport also.

10-2 as a QB that got to Kansas 5A Semifinals, and 3rd in the state the last 2 years in High Jump as well, and just went 6-7 a few days ago also. I really like the HS kids that also play FB. I remember how Ben Walker added so much toughness to that Altman team
