Per @GoodmanHoops Creighton is involved with Akron stretch forward Daniel Utomi and William & Mary sharpshooting guard Matt Milon. Both grad transfers.

Glad to hear this. Forget slowplaying anyone, let's be active with everyone we're interested in. Focusing too much on Bowen and not having any contingencies is what got us in the mess at the 4 spot in the first place.

Thomas Allen is moving on from Nebraska. How awesome would it be if Creighton snagged him ;)

Bowen had nothing to do with the 4 spot. What hurt was Steere backing out at the last moment and then Harrell transferring. They were both #4's we were counting on.

Steere is a big boy. Definitely think he would have been a 5 for us. Bowen definitely would have helped us play small and been a better option at the 4 than Ballock but I agree he is not a traditional 4.

I am sure Creighton will inquire about David Jenkins, but he will likely be one the more prized, if not the most prized sit-and-play transfer on the market.

Goodman reporting he's heard from Gonzaga, TCU, Cincy, Oklahoma St, Iowa, San Diego St, UNLV, Washinton St, Colorado, Notre Dame, Arizona, Memphis, Nevada, and Butler.

Surprised we weren't included. Or Nebraska.

I think neither Nebraska or Creighton get involved because they know, through Otzelberger, that Jenkins is headed to UNLV or Gonzaga.

For a doctor, you're really bad at diagnosing things. Bowen would absolutely have played the 4 for us. He was basically a more athletic, better rebounding version of Cole Huff. And 6'8. That's the dream 4 in Mac's scheme.
Steere, even though he had a decent perimeter and mid-range game, was going to play the 5 spot for us just given his size and athleticism.
Harrell transferring did hurt, though.
