Brian "this is a business" Bowen isn't suing his dad, I see. Perhaps he doesn't realize or wasn't told that Adidas can probably add his dad as a defendant and file cross-claims against him and any other family members involved (or perhaps he was and decided to do it anyway). The immunity from prosecution Mr. Bowen got from the DOJ doesn't protect him from civil suits. I assume Adidas will devote some resources to demonstrating that Brian was in fact aware of what was going on and not an innocent victim. The depositions should be pretty good. I fear it will not end well for Brian, however. I think he is once again allowing self-serving adults, this time in the form of plaintiffs counsel who think they see big dollars in going after Adidas, to provide bad life-advice to him. But, we shall see.

Just for gtmo

a few sites project him as late second rounder.

Over in Australia’s NBL, Bowen has averaged 6.5 points per game and 3.0 rebounds per game in just over 15 minutes a night

Still amazed when people say he was a potential lottery pick. I never saw that at all watching him play in high school. He never even looked like a surefire top college prospect to me. It was really exciting to have a 5 star recruit who so many teams were so high on interested in us -- but it also never felt like it was a certainty that he'd be a game changer on the court if he came here. He always reminded me a little of P'Allen, frankly -- you could see some incredible athleticism and potential, but also huge swings of on and off. The real game changer if he had come here would have been that once you land a 5 star, others are more likely to give you a serious look.

I think an invite to the combine shows he is definitely not lacking talent.
