Akol Arop with 19, 19, and 23 in three games at the Addidas gauntlet AAU tournament in NYC. He picked up offers from UAB, Towson, San Diego U., UNCG and Nebraska this weekend.

Interesting that Coach Huss and Coach Mac both followed Akol Arop on Twitter recently.

UNL offering Arop is interesting. Based on how the Skers treated his brother I wouldn’t be surprised to see him tell Miles to eat a d**k.

My thoughts exactly. Pretty ballsy for UNL to even offer consdering the shitstorm of negative publicity Miles got for offering, accepting, and then pulling a scholarship offer from his brother.

And yet it’s kind of hard to imagine they would make an offer to him without having at least having had some conversation with him. Recruits make bizarre decisions all the time.

NU offered Aguek Arop earlier than they should have, seemingly a PR move to cover their tracks for whiffing on Khyri and Patton. They offered Akol and 2020 Donovan Williams this weekend after Shereef's commitment.

I've seen Williams play and like him, but the offer seems early to me. Jacob might have a more informed opinion.

Feels as though NU offered Akol out of reaction to CU getting another local talent. Seemed that way with Aguek as well. Timmy knows he doesn’t need the negative local publicity

Are either Arop or Williams legitimate CU targets?
