No KU mention is interesting. Wonder if the recent FBI subpoena will hurt their recruiting much.
Holtmann and OSU seem to get the better of us lately in recruiting. Would be nice to beat them here.

Self has set somewhat of a precedent now of getting top 10 guards, etc in the last 3 years. Mitch would not have got 22 minutes a game with KU last year and certainly not the 25+ he will get his year. KU's 2nd 5 this year could be top 20.

I guess it will depend on whether he wants to be part of a team that unselfishly spreads the ball and the shots, which he would have at tOSU and CU, or THE guy who the entire offense operates around like a Trae Young - although that's tough to pull off if he doesn't have Trae's dribbling and vision (haven't watch any film, so no idea, but he is identified as a shooting guard rather than a point guard, so my guess is probably not). He can still be a featured guy getting his 10-15 shots per game at CU while still sharing the ball and setting up teammates. Certainly, if he produces, he could move into the Marcus Foster type role in a year or two. But, he won't dominate the ball the way Trae Young did at OU if he comes to CU - that's my thought anyway for what its worth.

We’ve been on Harvey hard for what seems like 4 years. If we’re unable to land him, I’ll be really disappointed. He’s that top 50 level player we need to break through.

It's only been 2 years recruiting Zach Harvey. Are u saying that we didn't "break thru" with top 25 Justin Patton?

Harvey is different, he's a top 50 recruit PRIOR to us possibly landing him. Patton blew up after he committed. Getting Ballock is a close comparison though but I think he was a top 75 recruit when he committed to us.

6'4 SG from Kansas. Figured he deserved a thread since he is making an unofficial this weekend. #42 in ESPN rankings. Very stiff competition including KU.

Looks like we've broken through that ceiling already...

PG D.J. Carton just picked OSU today. Holtmann is definitely the one to beat for Harvey. OSU already has the makings of a top 10 recruiting class for 2019, and Harvey would add to their riches. Here’s hoping we beat them out, but the comments I have seen with Harvey visiting OSU first for official visit is concerning as Holtmann is a closer when it comes to the top recruits he targets. He may be gone after the visit to OSU.
