Welcome Denzel. Two things stand out to me from watching maybe half the video: Great, dare I say almost perfect, arc on his shot. That's a ball that is going to have a great chance of getting soft bounces on the rim when it's not all nylon. Hope he still has that arc. Great finishing through contact and good touch shooting on the way back down after contact. That can get a guy a lot of and one opportunities. Excited to see his development. Hope he uses the year wisely and should be a great help to our guys working on scout team this year.

Clearly this was all part of Mac's master plan this spring.

Looks like still good arc on his outside shot, and still strong finishes through contact. But I haven't seen him throw down in any of the videos I have seen (which isn't that much, admittedly). Can't tell if he's bouncy.

The more I watch and read about this kid, the more excited I am about him coming to Creighton. Love those high percentage, efficient offensive players. He seems highly motivated to be the best player he can be, and Coach Mac and the staff can help with that.

he is a great addition and has a real chance at leading the team in scoring. defensively I have concerns, but if he shoots 40% from 3 then he should always have a positive impact on the court.

Certainly don’t understand the metrics this guy uses but Mahoney very highly rated in the 19/20 Class (click through to the blog). Damien Jefferson not so much in 18/19.
