I saw something on Twitter (which is always reliable) that there is an outside chance he could be eligible to play in 2018-2019 because of some violations that happened at SE Missouri. Do any of the recruiting gurus know if this is at all possible?

Denzel Mahoney averaged 19.3 ppg at Southeast Missouri last year. All-OVC 1st-team. Shot 41.3% from 3. He got to the line 7.03 times per game (26th nationally) & made 83.5% of those FTs.

and he has 1 year to develop those skills!

I think what’s most exciting is we’ll have a 2-year building up of this program with the same guys. Since Ronnie and Tazz are gone, the only senior is KJ. Next year is going to be exciting from a development perspective but I think 2019-2020 could be another special year, especially if Mac can develop all the talented freshmen and sophomores we have. We could be real deep in two years and make some noise in the tourney.
