looks like he has a full bag of tricks, scoring-wise. floaters, step backs, fadeaways, a tight handle. he can go/finish left and has a great first step. he can take physical contact, and he seems to have good midair body control. he looks a lot more polished than a lot of the guards you see in high school. I like this pickup a lot.

He's gonna step into a great situation next year:
Senior PG in Kaleb and Junior PG in Davion to learn from
Great young group of guys his class and class above (all 6 top 150 talent)
Solid senior leadership with Khyri, Ronnie, and Kaleb

Think he can have an Austin Chatman type experience where he's given some minutes his freshman year but not forced into anything like Davion was this year. The future of the Jays is really bright.

Also, big shout out to Preston Murphy who keeps establishing solid relationships with these recruits. Good job everyone on the coaching staff!

WBR's Matt D. caught up with Marcus last night. Great, thoughtful insight from the newest Bluejay, far beyond the usual soundbites recruits (and young players in general) typically offer up. Must-read!

Interesting right corner vs. left corner disparity. Seems to like taking 3s from the right side or a little off center left. Like what I see all around.
