2018 C Brady Heiman (Nebraska Commit)

Postby WBR Tom » Fri Apr 28, 2017 3:53 pm

6'11" center from Platteview High (10 miles south of the metro in Springfield, for out-of-towners who might not be familiar with where it is). Has offers from UNO and South Dakota, but is getting interest from bigger names -- Greg McDermott's been in to watch him in person, as has Gregg Marshall, though neither has offered yet. He's been on a couple of unofficial visits to CU.

Here's an OWH writeup; looks like Nebraska and Minnesota are also interested:

Might not turn out to be a Big East caliber player, but a 6'11" junior from (essentially) the Omaha metro is definitely worth keeping tabs on. Looks like that's exactly what Coach Mac is doing.

Creighton was at all of OSA's games in Atlanta this weekend, including Mac and Murphy.

I thought Murphy was in Indy seeing Tugs?

Coaches are very busy during Live Period tournaments.

» Nebraska's Division I programs were out in force Saturday to scout the talent. Creighton coach Greg McDermott was in attendance along with assistant Preston Murphy, keeping a close eye on OSA’s Brady Heiman. UNO assistant Tyler Erwin and Nebraska coach Tim Miles were in attendance, too.

Prep school would do him a lot of good. Heiman is a big Creighton fan too. Always see him wearing a Creighton shirt.
