This was my thought as well. And the fanbase will probably be harder on him when he bricks up a shot. Could be toxic.

Probably never have to worry about it though because he's going to play in Europe I heard.

When an active recruit is being openly mocked on the recruiting board,

I'm sure Bowen is checking this board as often as he can.

He isn't coming to CU. If he thought CU was a serious option he would have already pulled the trigger. IMO, anyway.

Doesn't this apply to every other school even remotely attached to him? And he's going to pick one of them/us. I don't necessarily think he's going to select Creighton either, but him not pulling the trigger yet isn't the reason, IMO.

If other programs hadn't continued to enter the picture as others "final 5" programs appeared to fall off I'd agree.

I heard this is the new Global Warming thread.

Do you think Tugs likes graphs?

Oh, good idea. If I had the time and inclination, I'd make a line graph, perhaps starting from the point he narrowed his list to 5) showing the daily average probability (maybe drawn from a dozen or so recruitniks) of him going to each college that has achieved at least a 5% probability during that time. That would be interesting. But, I have neither the time nor the inclination, so picture it in your heads.

The reality is that if Tugs comes to CU the first good game he has, all will be forgiven and forgotten. As for the players they have a different perspective from the fans even at this point. Before he can be a distraction in the locker room he has to be in the locker room.

Agree on all of this. I've said it before; I'll say it again. Too many fans live in this sports bubble that doesn't allow them to see all the other factors going into these types of decisions. The players and coaches see it. I feel quite confident in saying that if Tugs does choose Creighton, he will get some humorous jabs from teammates and maybe coaches, but nothing contentious or problematic. And I'll take it a step further - if Tugs were to commit, most fans won't need to wait for that first good game. It'll all be forgiven the moment he signs the dotted line. Would any of you who were annoyed, frustrated or pissed about this really hold it against him if he chose Creighton?
