I think it's one of those forced perspective things. The rim is probably lowered to about 7 feet, and then the camera angle makes that thing look tall but it's really only like 2 feet tall, etc.

Seriously, though -- if you pause it right when he gets up to it and begins the jump, it looks like the ball is at close to eye level. The angle of the camera probably really does make it look taller than it is, but it appears to me that it's somewhere in the 6'6" range, maybe a little shorter.

Kobe and Jordan Scurry came down to the KFC to play pick-up with us on Friday. Jordan got a breakaway and just cleared the rim on a dunk. Kobe came down and showed him how it is supposed to be done. Slammed it through with one hand with his head near the rim.

How many dunks did you have Jacob?

0. Kobe had to leave before his game was over and had me check in for him. I got scored on by Jordan in transition then hit a teammate for 3 and that's about it. We won.
