Article from today. Nothing much new or noteworthy, other than they seem to put Arizona and Michigan State in the driver's seat.

This Michigan State article suggests Bowen wants to be the main guy. And that is why Creighton is even in the mix.

"Why else would a team like Creighton be on the list? No, I’m not trying to knock the Bluejays as they’re one of the top teams in the Big East, but he’d likely be the top scoring option there."

Same source, diff article: MSU has moved in on Illinois wing Mark Smith rapidly and he has responded rapidly- recently taking an official visit with family. Spartan Ave. thinks he will commit to MSU over UK & Illinois. Mich St is saving a spot for CTR Brandon McCoy of San Diego, Cali.

Interesting. If Trier/Alkins don't get run out at Arizona - we get Tugs... Sweet. ;).

WBR/BJU planning any follow up articles/interviews with Tugs?

Saw Arizona is going after Cam Johnson pretty hard. Interesting. Has to effect Tugs. Both 6'8, play the wing spot

Cam's dad played college ball with Sean Miller and they were tight. If Arizona really wants Cam that would clear up Tugs for us. I would rather have Tugs.

Yup. Kinda makes you wonder if UA knows something we don't, regarding Tugs. Why go after a player two years older, not as much upside, may not even be the better play right now, that plays the same spot and has an identical body type to Tugs? I'd like to think if UA gets Cam, it's gotta be us or MSU for Tugs. But, no one knows anything as he's played this so close to the chest. It can't look good to Tugs knowing one of the schools you're strongly considering is going after a transfer player who plays your spot, while they seemingly have 2 to 3 more guys on their roster who play there as well.

Bowen's decision comes down to whether Allonzo Trier goes pro or stays at Arizona. If he goes pro, Bowen will go to Arizona. If he stays, Bowen will look at MSU and Creighton. If Miles Bridges at MSU doesn't go pro, Bowen will almost certainly go to Creighton.

Wrong on the MSU part. Bowen has said publicly Bridges makes no impact bc they play different positions.
