The youngest just scored 92 in a game, going 37 for 61

From what I understand, the kid never crossed half court the entire second half. He cherry-picked the entire time and the other team let him do it, without playing any defense at all. So, take it for what its worth. The kid is a sophomore and it sounds like a real piece of work. (NOTE: for avoidance of doubt, this is related toward the comment on Ball kid scoring 92, as the thread got diverted onto that tangent. Ty-Shon, of course, is a terrific kid.)

A final score of 146-123?? Sweet Jesus. You'd have to have someone just standing at half court for both teams.

You likely won’t find his name on any All-American list or even see him pumping his chest and yelling out with much emotion. That’s not his game. Ty-Shon Alexander is a cool customer, though, a team player, and helps make No. 5 Oak Hill Academy (VA) complete.
That’s not to say the 6-foot-4 Creighton signee can’t take over and dominate, however. After all, the senior guard with a smooth stroke went on a tear in late January, including a 50-point performance with 13 3-pointers.
Alexander is a shooter. He picks his spots wisely. And when he gets going, watch out, because he can fill it up in a hurry.

Jays were fortunate to get in early on Ty-Shon and it paid off. He's a greater shooter, a humble and articulate guy, and a team 1st type of player. He does whatever Oak Hill needs him to do - to win. He and Mitch are gonna be Great Jays...I'm thinking 2k point guys for us over their careers on the Hilltop.

Ty-Shon played really well the first half and struggled with his shooting the second half. Finished with 11 points. For Oak Hill, they fell into Hero ball the second half and lost. Ty-Shon looked to be the best team player on Oak Hill and will fit well in our system. He can do more than just shoot 3 pointers!

I agree, he looked like he could play for us right away. I like his style of play, very unselfish and poised.
