According to Jack LeGwin's conversation with Tugs after La Lu's romping of Oldsmar Christian in Florida, Bowen isn't making a decision until January now. Might have to wait a little longer for that Creighton commitment.

I think the delay is positive news from our point of view.

Seems like he been an MSU lean since the outset. Perhaps MSU's struggles this season have caused Tugs to consider other options besides the home school powerhouse?

He was never considering ASU. Arizona or UofA was the school he always considered.

What are the depth charts for the contending teams? Is he definitely a 3? or can he play the 2?

Maybe MSU's poor-ish season means that some of their players may not leave earlier than expected?

According to 247 the competition all have 3 SF's, either already aboard or 3 total counting signed recruits. Jays are listed as having 1 SF. Tugs is listed as a 6-7 (and growing) SF.

Surprised as the last report was to make a decision now, so as not to continue interfering with his HS Season. It seems the hs season is now in full swing.

Perhaps the competition is playing the "little Creighton" card: the ol' "little school that can't hang in the Big League" rhetoric. Gotta luv it as both AU and MSU are not having the best of years thus far.

Perhaps as stated above (mredle) there is a desire to see whether or not the Jays are legit? The games next week and the 1st two weeks in January will tell the tale.
