Hmmm, didn't appear in any games 1st semester. Says he is totally healthy.

Are you kidding me...a 7 footer named DUNKUM ? Can't make that stuff up ala Ryan GRIP or Mike Stick! Looks like he's really not a "walk-on"...just temporarily. So is he like Etchinique(six)... 2 1/2 years eligible?

Why would he not have 4 years eligibility? Red-shirted freshman year, not sure what transpired this fall.

i think expecting any more out of him than that is silly

if he develops and earns some PT - bonus

You're totally right. I do think he fits our style of play though, so if he does work out...great! If not, he's an extra body at practice.

Once the NCAA eligibility clock starts, it doesn't stop. He loses a year of eligibility for this year whether he plays or not since he has already used his redshirt. Then he won't become eligible until after the end of the first semester, so another 1/2 year gone.
"But I truly care about Creighton and the fans and what they've done for me the last three years. I want to give them one more year and take care of business in the Big East so we can prove people wrong.'' ---- Doug McDermott

This is Sam's 2nd year. Last year he redshirted because of injury. This year he sat out at Lafayette to think about what he wants to do. He transferes to Creighton 2nd semester and has to sit out 1 year. Next year is his 3rd year and he plays 2nd semester as a Soph. his 4th year, he is a jr. and 5th year he is a senior. In other words he can play I believe 2.5 years at Creighton.

I love what I see and hear in this kid. He is going to shock everyone by the time he is a Jr. I expect him to be an outstanding addition to the team. His future looks bright.

When I first saw this yesterday and did a couple searches, I thought it was Sidd Finch II. Other than the video, truly a mystery recruit. But hey, I think its great. Welcome and bring it on Slam Dunkum.
