His mom liked and retweeted a reply I sent to a recruiting site. So there's that. Not sure I would think too much into it. The fact that he did not cancel his visit to Omaha is a good thing.

I really hope the crowd is great tonight. I know he was here for the Xavier game last year and the Clink was rockin', but this is our final shot to lure him. For some reason, I feel we have a legit chance. I think we're in the mix with MSU as his top choice. I don't have any inside info, that's just my feeling.

According to some (staff, BJB reports, a few national pundits) we are firmly in the mix. The fact we have weathered several cuts on Tugs' list confirms those opinions.

Creighton offers everything the big state schools cannot. The Bowens primary objective on this visit is to confirm whether CU is the Best Fit for Brian. We are.

IMO (limited info, CU bias, eternal optimism, and prayer) Creighton seals the deal this weekend.

Now he intends to take an official visit to Creighton over the weekend. He’s visited before but is looking forward to hearing more of the Bluejays’ pitch to him.

“They just need a straight bucket-getter,” Bowen said. “I don’t have a problem with that at all. Put shooters around me and everything, go and score the ball.”

Sorry to rain on the never-ending Gtmo parade, but the MSU article seems to point to a spring signing:

Bowen will also look to visit Texas later this month, so don’t expect a decision made during the early signing period, which wraps up on Nov. 16. He’ll then have until April, when the regular period starts, so there will be no rush.

But it's CU for sure then, right?

Unless something miraculous happens while he's here, he's not committing on the spot. He's going to wait until spring. And i'm not saying if he waits until spring we're out...not at all. I just think he's going to look at all his options. He'd be dumb not too.
