His game and role with Creighton would be much different than it was at Sacred Heart.
Important thing moving forward with recruiting is fill the roster with guys who play at a high level. In essence Cane would fulfill the roster spot they had reserved for Marlon for 4 years. In that regard it's a huge upgrade.
Secondly, I love the fact that Creighton continues to be active with transfers. Yes they 3 for 2 in terms of years played but that red shirt year allows them to mature physically and mentally and learn the system.
Whether it's Cane or someone else, I hope Jays grab a PG. I understand the shout for the big man but id rather the Jays get a player than some Juco stiff and believe me there are not many good available bigs, juco/hs/grad transfers
