Kalkbrenner picked for Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference

Is there some kind of unwritten rule for it that the POY can't also be the DPOY? Maybe? Even at that, I'd think Stevie Mitchell at Marquette would be a more likely favorite than Kadary Richmond for defense.
