The NCAA NET rankings are becoming a joke. Look at Gonzaga. They are 5-7 against Q1 (2-6) and Q2 (3-1) and are ranked 12th.

Creighton is ranked 37th, 25 spots behind GU. They are 9-6 vs Q1 (4-4) and Q2 (5-2).

GU won some good games, especially early in the year but they really gain points for absolutely destroying terrible teams. Gaming the NET system. Much of the SEC is the same way.

29th in both polls. It’s starting to look like we will have to win the BE to get some respect.

The Nebraska loss is just so, so damaging. Playing around with the Teamcast tool on Torvik's website, flipping that game to a win and leaving everything else the same to this point moves CU up to #30 and a projected six seed in the tourney.

So that's fun.

The 2022-23 team that lost six straight in November-December didn't get back into the rankings until this week of the season, and that team started from a higher place and at least had the excuse of Kalkbrenner missing a significant number of those games.

Want respect? Don't look like turbo ass on national TV multiple times while sporting a number in front of your name.

I disagree. There are plenty of good teams with a home loss like Nebraska on their resume. Whether you 37 or 30 in the NET isn't going to matter much with regard to seeding. Now, a 25 point loss to Georgetown hurts much more than the Nebraska loss, imo.

He *literally* did the work of seeing what the data would show without that absolutely inexcusable garbage performance against Nebraska. At home.

Love this team. Happy with the progress. Still can’t excuse that failure to show up against that team. I can live with the road game at Georgetown without Pop Isaac’s waaaaay more easily.

Home loss to Nebr most definitely hurts us more than the road loss to GT. That loss alone probably will cost us a seed line.

I know it will never happen, and my vote doesn't count, but I'd be all for dropping that game from the schedule.

Historically it does very little to nothing for the Jays and it's Nebr super bowl.

It will probably be their best win this year when the season is done.
