Doing that and winning in Omaha has them close to doing that this year. Despite how terrible they have been losing 7 straight in the big ten, Lunardi still has them “first four out” today.

Just got our 4th Q1 win and our NET didn’t budge from 39?
At Creighton Bob Gibson majored in sociology and starred in Basketball and Baseball. In 1957 Gibson received a $3,000 sign-on bonus with St. Louis Cardinals, but delayed his HOF Cards career a year to play pro B-ball with the Harlem Globetrotters.

That's what Nebraska has been doing the last few years.

Yeah Hoiberg's strategy has been to load up their noncon with cupcakes to get in the dance the cheap way. The committee should stop rewarding that.

Just win by 40 against cupcakes and you’ll be a top 50 team if you win your home games in conference.

Is it just me, or is Alex Karaban just ridiculously overrated? How no is that guy in serious conversations as first team or POY?

Neither Marquette nor UConn impressing me tonight. Have to deal with Marquette’s press next weekend (especially after our TOs today), but they can’t shoot, either from the floor or FTs. UConn has just hit a lot of their 3s. I think Kalk will be the difference. But let’s beat Providence first.
So long Valley, hello big time.

I find myself, oddly, rooting for the Huskies. I think it may simply I have more distaste for Shaka than Hurley. Or maybe because the announcers say keep saying it is the largest crowd (17,600) to ever see a Marquette game. maybe in Swillwaukee, but not Omaha.

He's really good at what he does which is shoot, but while he added some dribble drive to his game he's a shooter who depends on having other guys in the UConn offense able to suck people into the paint. Of course, UConn's struggled to do that even last year because we have Kalkbrenner and don't need to collapse to help, but this year he's been struggling to get shots without a creator in their offense

No go for me as POY and probably not for 1st team also

Agreed. Not even close.

He’s an elite 4th option on a championship team because he can dominate that role. Him as a 1st or 2nd option is not elite.
