Plenty of time to heal and get into shape.

that sucks. Never a good time for that to happen, but even 4 months puts him back November 1. So at least this was in the offseason giving him time to recover

We obviously don't have a team, which is too bad. I think there is a helluva squad to be made with our former guys. Especially since our Cs can shoot (Patton, Martin...) imagine those guys with Tyshon, Taz, maybe Z, Jefferson, Hawk, O'Connell...

Anyway. Bummer.

Do we have any former Jays playing?

Andre Yates, Team AboutBillions

Thanks Jacob.

Sort of interesting that it's all transfers in or out related to us.

Any details? Will it require surgery?

Or just a standard break?

Any reports on summer workouts? It would be interesting to hear how the new guys look. Pop still rehabbing?

Didn’t know where to put this, but I’m down in Jamaica right now and a guy at the resort said I was the 3rd person that day he saw wearing a Creighton shirt.

He even knew that Creighton was in Omaha.

Sam Vecenie of the Athletic did a look ahead at the 2025 NBA draft. He started the article off saying how the 2025 class is much better, especially at the top, than the 2024 class and went into potential breakout candidates saying this: “You could even sell me on a Jackson McAndrew breakout in a perfect schematic situation at Creighton. This freshman class is loaded with potential breakout candidates.”

Other guys of note:
#8 Liam McNeeley- UConn
#17 Hunter Sallis- Wake
#19 Alex Karaban- UConn
#22 Kam Jones- Marquette
#37 Tucker DeVries- WVU
#47 Kalk
#59 Saint Thomas- USC

That would be pretty cool if two Omaha kids were drafted in the same year. Has that ever happened before?

Anyway, I get the obsession with tall 3pt specialists but McAndrew looks years away from being ready for the league. He needs to bulk up.
