According to FOX Sports “Creighton’s win over top-ranked UCONN scored 709,000 viewers Tuesday - the most watched Big East Men’s basketball game ever on @FS1.” More evidence of Coach Mac’s worth and value to the University. As a long time alum - I’ve been an avid Jays men’s BB fan since the Tom Apke era. The Coach Mac years have been an absolute joy - second to none! I hope he retires as a Bluejay!!

I have no idea if this is accurate but it’s from yesterday and says Miller to tOSU:

No, it's not. The account that tweeted that is parody.

Even funnier, it’s a Providence fan account that tweeted it before their game with Xavier to get X fans worked up. Shocking one of the “news” sites that just aggregates tweets put out completely false info with zero context

This guy has been posting on Twitter recently, told a backstory to the Nembhard transfer this offseason (no idea if true, but an intriguing story nonetheless).

“A source close to the team tells me Greg McDermott has signed an extension to stay at Creighton. It will likely be announced in the coming days.”

Just thought I’d pass it along

Hope he is right. It makes a ton of sense for all parties concerned. Mac really loves the players he's recruited and the program he's helped to build to this level. He is way underpaid, but I doubt he has a driving urge to be the top paid couch in the country but anyone who works that hard wants what is fair as well

And for the Administration, no way they will find a coach at the same level to come here, and not figuring out how to keep your coach who just got you to the Elite 8 (and who just beat the #1 ranked returning NCAA champ at home) is a bad way for an AD to help their job stability
