Wooga Poplar was thrown out of the game early for trying to throw a punch.

And? It’s still a win @ Nova

Yup. Big win for GT at Nova. Probably helps us too. Our SOS went up in Kenpom. Perhaps, our loss to GT doesn’t look as bad. That’s a tough place to get a win.

Poplar, as the second best player for Nova, hurt his team by getting tossed. Hopefully, a CU team coached by Mac won’t get baited like that. Imagine if Ashworth got tossed 5 minutes into the game?

Diarra for UConn gets away with so many fouls. It’s incredible how their fans think they get hosed by big east officiating.

UCONN getting the Bizjacked!
At Creighton Bob Gibson majored in sociology and starred in Basketball and Baseball. In 1957 Gibson received a $3,000 sign-on bonus with St. Louis Cardinals, but delayed his HOF Cards career a year to play pro B-ball with the Harlem Globetrotters.

I was rooting for Butler, but I think this is the best result for us.

Would be nice if Butler can beat Marquette. For Big East standings and to get Butler to a Q1 win (currently 84 in NET).

CU's two biggest point spread losses were to the two worst teams they lost to. NU and Gtown. Granted both were playing much better at the time the Jays lost to them...just found that fact to be mildly interesting.

Butler just ran out of gas. They had the lead with Kam Jones on bench with 4 fouls for most of second half. Butler just not deep enough to get it done.
