Get a few games out of him, get him paid and keep the medical redshirt intact (mentioned by Mac.) I would assume most thought the Fedor issue would be straightened out by now.
I made a couple of comments to my wife during the KU game that Pop seemed to really be into that game. I assumed it was the TTU history and wanting to get back at KU. Also made sense that this was his last game for awhile and wanted to go out on a high note.

Gotta love the wild, baseless conspiracy theory qualified by the claim that you are "not a conspiracy theorist." This doesn't seem so "obvious" to me, but it certainly does seem ridiculous. If CU is able to knowingly commit to blowing a six-figure sum to get 8 games -- and a relatively meaningless win over KU -- out of a guy, then I have severely underestimated our NIL spending power.
