Plus San Diego is awesome. I’m in SD right now and it’s a beautiful morning.

For me, when it come to good non-con games I am much more interested in playing new teams each year not regurgitate the same ol’ teams each year. Snooze. Time to move on and play others.

I agree LJay. I don’t enjoy watching SDSU play either, so it’s a pass for me.

The bigger issue that I see is the relative lack of home-home series going forward. You’ve got the built in non-con games in the MTE, plus the “buy” games and UNL each season. There’s not many games left to establish home-home series.

I vote for a neutral site game in Vegas every year. Despite the two losses, that trip was really fun.

If neutral site wins continue to be more valuable than home wins, I absolutely vote for neutral site games in places like Vegas or even going back up to Sioux Falls, against quality opponents, where possible. Likely easier to schedule than H/H with the scheduling constraints, too.

I also don't have much interest in playing a round of thug ball with SDSU if we can schedule other quality opponents. They are good, great test, etc. -- but it's only sort of basketball most of the time and whenever it ends up being a game that officials are going to allow to be played on those terms, the value of it for us is diminished.

I vote to play teams we prefer not to go against early in the Tournament. Despite Ariz early loss, it was nice not having to go up against Arizona this year because we already played them. Duke, Michigan St or Alabama meet that description for me. Michigan St for BE/B10 would work, Kansas St for B12 or whoever else we want to avoid until at least the sweet 16

Since we were at Texas this year I am doubting the accuracy of this report.

Guess we'll see. Quite a number of teams on that list would be either home or away for the 2nd consecutive year

Hope we find a decent home and home partner like we did with the Zags a few years ago. After such a disappointing home noncon last year I would like to think we reward the fans somehow, since it clearly won't be coming in that challenge.

That’s three road assignments in four years in that challenge, if true.
