I enjoy X, formerly known as Twitter, but whoever this pre-eminent scooper in CBB is, my take is he was looking for clicks, rather than making a reasoned analysis. I've also seen Mac's name in some Ohio media. Wishful thinking on their part, imo. Mac is a good coach. There are not many basketball programs who would not want him, so I understand this was not made up by Creighton fans. I also understand fan forums are filled with this sort of speculation, it's part of the reason for they exist. My speculation is that there is nothing about the present situation that would lend support for the idea that Mac would leave Creighton for OSU. It would be a step down. It's not happening. Not now, not ever. Is it possible he would go somewhere else some day? Maybe, but unlikely. Mac will be like me and die a Bluejay. No hen clucking here.

Only communication really has been through Mac’s representative. If OSU or ASU offer him a job he’s likely gone. PAY THE MAN !!

IF this is true, to lose him because you don't want to pay him 3.5 million is embarrassingly cheap.
