St Joe's is one of the favorites to win the A10, especially with big Rick now out at SLU. That game is solid.

North Texas isn't a complete scrub. UAB and Tulsa should suck. I don't know anything about Akron.

It sucks that drake and UNI are midweek games, but I love senior night against WSU.

A ten day break between games around Christmas?

Akron should be good -- they've got everyone back from a decent team, I think. It's a decent schedule. If we wing a ton of games we'll have a good RPI. But we had a good RPI last year, so that obviously doesn't matter. We need to beat Wisconsin and we need to win that game at Cal. Those will be the only wins we get solid credit for, I bet.

And Arkansas. Best-case LV scenario has CU defeat the Badgers and the Hawgs. I bet when all is said and done this season, Mike Anderson has Pig Sooey in a decent place, RPI-wise.

North Texas was 18-14 last season and returns its top six scorers from a year ago. They should be better than their RPI of 200 from a year ago. I have no knowledge, but I would imagine this is a buy game as North Texas has been posting frequently about its need for games on Basketball Travelers. I'd guess based on that alone, that CU was able to dictate terms pretty easily. However, it wouldn't be completely out of the question for this to be a home-and-home or 2-for-1 based on the recruitment of the state of Texas with Lutz on board.

As others have said, overall a decent schedule. In addition to getting credit for Wisconsin and Cal among the national pundits if the Jays were to win those games, I'd say they would get high marks for St. Joe's as well - as they figure to be an excellent team this season (possible top 25 later in the year). We know that Lunardi's eyes will be on that game for certain...

North Texas has a guy that played with Doug on the USA team. Pretty sure its Oklahoma State forward Roger Franklin and he transferred to North Texas.

I know they have Tony Mitchell who declared for the NBA Draft only to withdraw his name and come back to school. They are going to be one of those long athletic match-ups for us.

I am going to need some sources here, I have been watching a lot of the Newsroom lately and know how these things work. Sources or we don't go to air with it.
Don't call it a come back.

Akron is very very good. As Danny said they have almost everyone back. They were the best team in the MAC for most of the season. (Remember Ohio got to the sweet 16) They just slumped at the end of the year and then did not win the conference tourney. We better not sleep on them or we will get worked.
