Fair. But for our visitor's purposes, I wouldn't prioritize going to one of the opponent's more distant bars so I can get on a bus with a slew of its drunk fans. Also seems like a lot of work for a sandwich. ;)

Assuming you want to pregame near the arena, there are better, more convenient options available. If you want to eat, don't do DJ's - the food is practically inedible.

Good point haha. And I also wouldn't recommend DJ's for a visitor.

Thank you all for the suggestions. I think we'll hit up the Old Market and Capitol Districts, specifically Let It Fly. Also, from Google Maps, your riverfront looks very nice. Hopefully we can make some time for that.

As for a scouting report: We're the preseason favorite in the Summit League, mostly due to how many returning players we have. Marvin Menzies is in his third season as head coach after former stops at New Mexico State and UNLV. Jamar Brown is our key player and was named to the All-Summit Preseason 1st Team. Our main strength is our perimeter shooting; Cameron Faas and Anderson Kopp are our biggest outside threats. On the flip side, we lack a true big man and struggle playing bigger teams with small-ball lineups. Petty, Diallo, and Hall are a few other names to look out for, all of which are guards or swingmen.

The riverfront is amazing, one of the best urban parks in the entire country. Definitely a must see if you have time and the weather is nice. The zoo is obviously the #1 attraction in the area and worth it if you have time. Just ate at J Gilbert’s a few weeks ago and it was great.
