Thanks to Ueker for the info: 6'6'' Iowa City West wing played in front of plenty of college coaches over the week in DM, including our own Greg McDermott. Jeremy is the son of former Iowa Football player Michael Morgan. Creighton, Iowa, and UNI have been on him the longest.

Morgan was at the selection show viewing tonight, with his entire family. It looked me like his parents really liked what the coaches/president/players had to offer. D-Rock was doing the work.

He had a team mate with him. They were both on the all 4A Tournament team. Their team was undefeated 4A champs. Thanks for all the info on the recruitting. The expert on all information finally put Jeremy's name on his site with nothing but a story from Iowa rivals site. Is't that the way you like to get Bluejay news is with a hawk-eye slant. Keep up the good work and Go Jays!!!

Here is how the process works over there...he collects your money, then he reads the recruiting board on this site, then if something is really obvious (like people on this board saw Jeremy Morgan @ the selection show, or Tyrone Taylor tweets that he was there), he will post on his site "I can confirm so and so was on campus" or whatever else. Then occasionally he will say something like "going to do a story on this kid soon," then 3 months go by and there is nothing and someone asks him about it and he gets really defensive and claims that the Jays just really aren't that interested in that recruit anymore so he doesn't want to waste anyone's time by doing a story on them anymore.

Also, if you ever ask any questions ever or get critical of anything, he completely disregards the substance of your comment and just thinks you are out to get him and it is a personal attack on him.

Cannot say it enough, THANK GOD for this board. :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

I believe Dondre Alexander was on campus as well. Alexander had a great year with Morgan and played very well last week in Des Moines. Is starting to garner MVC type looks for basketball but is seen as a much higher profile football recruit (Iowa, Iowa St, Wisky).

Free Scout story: http://iowa.scout.com/2/1177886.html

Story says that if he gets a high level football offer, he'll probably take it.

That was definitely one of the more impressive highlight tapes I've seen. Sometimes I watch those clips of highly recruited kids and I'm wondering what the coaches are seeing. This tape certainly showed off a pretty impressive set of offensive moves, not just him bombing in a few open three points shots and throwing down a couple dunks.
