Congrats on your new job with BYU. I have enjoyed your input and wish you well. One last question do the Jays have a chance of getting a visit from Jalik Dunkley?

Thanks for all the info you bring to this board. Do you think the the Staff waits for the portal or is there someone we might target in the 24 class? Go Jays!!!

If it’s one of the main guys, then it’s either Kalk or Trey since Baylor is out of eligibility.
I’m guessing it’s Kalk.
I won’t be surprised if Ashworth also comes back.

I'd honestly be shocked if Ashworth
does 't come back. He's not playing professionally anywhere unless it's a 2nd or 3rd rate overseas league, and he's already older and married. Come back for another year, have more chance to be a focal point in the offense, and make some nice NIL money for your family.

It would almost certainly have to be Kalk. I think Baylor would come back if he could, but I don't think he can get another year of eligibility without it being a grad transfer. Granted, there's guy's in college basketball right now on their 7th years, but those stories are usually pretty complicated whereas Baylor's situation seems pretty cut and dry.
It seemed like Trey was the closest to giving the NBA a shot and as much as I'd love him back for another year if I were in his position I would be gone after this season too.
Any of those 3 come back that would be huge, but Kalk would have to be the guy you want back first. He completely changes the way we are able to play the game.

I would bet a lot of money that Helmzy is referencing Ashworth.

I would take that bet. I think many of us expect Ashworth to be back and while he's a starter and important, he generally isn't considered one of the 3 "main guys" on this team.

If that is who Helmzy was referencing then a bit disappointing, I was under the impression that was pretty much already the plan. Not that I don't want Ashworth back, he's been playing much better and another year in the system will only help, but I think a lot of fans assumed he would be back.
