Anybody else here the rumor that Cunningham might be de-commiting from Ok St today and that McDermott was trying to charter a plane to meet with him?

I saw the same tweet. I’ve been waiting for a second confirmation but nobody’s saying anything. I’d guess he was reaching.

That same dude tweeted that Kerwin Walton has picked the Jays in the day of his announcement. Think this is a similar “joke” by him.

this might be poe's law at work. something on the internet so thickly laced in sarcasm that people cannot tell if it is "real" or just a joke/bit.
IIRC, steve pedersen chartered a plane to meet in person with a SEC coach, Frank Solich's hopefully replacement. that tweet sort of comes across as a callback to that event.
