Jays have had a virtual visit with the 4 star junior.

“ “Stanford, Seton Hall, USC, Arizona State, are among those involved,” he said. Also mentioned some new programs involved which include Creighton, Gonzaga and Maryland.

On the topic of the new programs, he mentioned that he was able to virtually visit Creighton. The Blue Jays have done an excellent job of drawing in FIBA talent and would love to do the same with the former Team Canada guard.”

He is really really good. Especially impressed with his defense at the point of attack. He’s quick, explosive, seems like a smart floor general, and very competing. Can’t remember much about his jumper but I don’t think it’s an issue. I’m a huge NBA fan so I watched a ton of Montverde for Cade Cunningham and Nembhard pops a lot. I think he’d be a perfect fit here.

His brother is leaving Florida.

Florida’s Andrew Nembhard will withdraw from the NBA Draft and intends to transfer, source told @Stadium. The 6-foot-5 sophomore point guard averaged 11.2 points and 5.6 assists per game this past season and should be a pursued heavily by other high-major schools.

On Andrew's transfer...
Creighton Bluejays
If playing in a different offensive system is of big importance, the Bluejays have a compelling case to make. They had three guards this past season put up career numbers and with Mitchell Ballock graduating and Marcus Zegarowski likely gone after next year, could use another point guard ready in place for 2021-22.

Creighton did land four-star point guard Rati Andronikashvili but he can play off-ball in order to make this work. And with Duke transfer Alex O’Connell already set to sit out this upcoming season, Nembhard could average 5-6 apg just by passing it out to the wings for three-pointers. This is a system Nembhard could thrive in under head coach Greg McDermott.
