seems to be getting a lot of attention. 6-5 or 6-6 (an article said 6-9 wingspan also), really solid shooter, hits the boards apparently, and if you project him to get stronger and quicker as he develops you could have a really nice player. We've definitely found talent in Iowa before ;)

Supposedly Kansas reached out - also this:

"DeVries, meanwhile, has picked up offers from South Dakota State, Drake and Air Force this week after a strong performance at the showcase in Missouri. He is also hearing from Iowa, Nebraska-Omaha and Kansas.

Yes, Kansas as in the Kansas Jayhawks.

Assistant coach Norm Roberts called him this week.

[i]"He was basically just saying how, at my size and ability to shoot the ball, I could play anywhere," DeVries told me, "and (he) thought in a few years, there's a good chance I would be able to help them."

I've got DeVries one spot above Sandfort at No. 8 in the initial in-state 2021 rankings. He's a 6-6 wing with a college body and a college shot. I see his home as a 3-and-D wing, but like Roberts told him, his size and ability could project at multiple spots. His agility needs to improve, but he's an active rebounder with a 40-percent 3-point stroke."

Tucker is really smart and can shoot the heck out of the ball. He's got great basketball instincts. Athleticism (and quickness esepcially) is the big question mark. If he's continued to grow and has developed athletically because of that over the last few months, enough to hold his own at the high-major level, then he's a great fit for how Creighton plays.

Tucker's played with Preston Murphy Jr. and Hunter Sallis for OSA the last two years (he's played for OSA much longer than that but Hunter didn't join them until last summer). Tucker came back to play with them this year even after they moved to Des Moines.

He should go to Drake. Both he and his father should know first hand about a coach’s son being a star.
