6-3 athletic guard is a recent South Dakota State decommit, who will likely get offers from all big name Midwest schools (Iowa State, Kansas State, Nebraska, Kansas, Creighton) over the next week. He will be on Creighton's campus today for a visit. One of the rising prospects in the country over the last 3 months. Can play both guard positions. Seen him compared with a smaller JP Macura. Grill has an edge, shoots from well behind the 3 point line, and makes winning plays.

I would be shocked if Creighton does not offer today during the visit. Hopefully they can lock him down.

1. Would he see minutes as a true freshmen?

2. Is he looking to make a decision soon?

Looks pretty impressive to me.

Seen him play 8-10 times. Not a "deadeye" shooter YET! Plays 3 sports. Very athletic. Plays the right way. Great kid. Dad played for the Shockers. Kansas is not recruiting him. He's a winner. He would bring that "attitude" with him that CU lacks right now.

he'll likely wait this out, and see what other offers and interest he gets, and I don't blame him, with all the turnover and transition to new staffs he will rocket up depth charts on many of the best teams in the area.

Probably a 1-2 in the lineup not sure he can guard the 4

We have multiple needs. Ty-Shon, Mitch and Davion are all juniors and seniors next year.

As I stated in the '2019 Class' thread.........I think you go after him hard RIGHT NOW!!!! Davion has one more season, and CGrill takes his spot in 20/21. Heck, you could play him next season in KJospeh's spot. With ict's review below, I really see only one bad thing......the Shocker connection! Boooooo!!!!

But I especially like, and agree to some extent, based on what you see of his film......"He's a winner. He would bring that "attitude" with him......."!!

Every time I watch his film, which is 5x now, I like this kid more and more!! GET HIM NOW!!! Plus, when I see his name, it makes me think of the following that defines how he plays; Caleb "Up In Your" Grill. Me likey this kid and want him in Omaha! I'm betting with all open spots in Lincoln, Feddie will recruit this kid hard......type of kid you want for their exact transition! All IMHO
