6'6", 210-pound small forward from Charlottesville, VA is reclassifying from 2019 to 2018. Just wrapped up a visit to Rutgers, and is reportedly headed to Creighton for a visit next according to multiple sources:

Four-star recruit who currently ranks #63 in Rivals for 2019, and #129 in 247's composite rankings. There's rumors he wants to redshirt and that's why he's reclassifying to '18 instead of going to prep school (and further rumors of a minor-ish injury being the reason), but he'd be a huge get. And if he decides to play this fall, needless to say he'd be a HUGE addition especially this late in the game.

Yep. Kid only gets 5 official visits. Probably best to go where there's a chance he's wanted.

Not much data...just the various articles from a roughly 10 day window. 3-4 from Adam Zagoria (see post from Polyfro with 2 articles above)
and a couple from Rutgers since 30 June.

Appearances give impression that CU was on his (Aundre's) radar, as he had known/met Khyri from prep school. The various articles referred to a visit to CU.
Given what appears to be a lukewarm reception by the Jays staff, Aundre had not been on our radar. I suppose they had to do a quick due diligence eval.
Declining to set up an official visit further gives the appearance we had little interest. The 4th holiday added a small complication, but a visit could have
been scheduled for this coming weekend. So the kid moves on and adds Seton Hall.

Appearances are what they are. Whether the staff had interest or not, the opportunity closed quickly. Not attempting to assign "fault", merely reciting the
chronology of events.

My hunch is that we would not have signed him...for whatever reasons the staff has/had. Perhaps they want to save the ride.

Assuming he means Quincy Gurrier -- Thetford Academy in Canada -- 4 Star -- 6'7" and 190, Class of 19.

247 shows Creighton having "warm" interest -- before Gtmo's post here, I had never heard of him or seen anything anywhere linking him to Creighton. His full team list seems to include almost every team who plays college basketball, including X, Hall, Providence, and GTown in the Big East. Everyone except Creighton is listed as "cool" interest, right now.
